Photography: First Pic with new sd1000 by mrjmw
Here I am back at this blogging thing again. But now, I’m one happy camper with a new Canon SD1000. So I’ll probably be posting more photos of my own. I am inspired and have a few ideas but we’ll see what happens.
It’s nice to finally have a camera again. I like it, it’s small with a larger screen and a snug fitting small case. It looks classy and it’s a great point and shoot camera. I got the camera, case and a 2GB sd memory card for about $225 which is pretty good.

Hi, John…..glad you’re posting and taking pictures.
I think I may be in the market for a small camera. I love my Nikon D50, but sometimes I wish I had a tiny lightweight one.
I’ll be interested to know how you like the one you have chosen…let us know as you work with it.

Hi Sis. Buxton,
I’ve had this small Canon for a few weeks now and I like it alot. I know alot of people that have them. I think the image quality is very good although maybe not as good as a Nikon D50. This Canon SD1000 works well for personal pictures and for the amatuer photography I’m starting to get into.
